I am refreshed in knowing that I serve a God who
can do all things and knows all things. I am excited that I can lean on Him and
He will comfort me, but the key is that I have to seek him.
Because of Who God is, we receive His outpouring of love, grace, and mercy. He does not hold our faults and mistakes against us. He forgives us and washes us whiter than snow. It is like polishing silver or gold being set ablaze. When the process is finished, we shine.
For the past 12 days, I have been participating in
a 40-Day Surrender Fast, visit Surrenderfast.com for more information.
This is my second fast with the group and sadly this will be the last fast that
Dr. Celeste Owens will be hosting. Last year I was excited about this
fast, but I realize now that I was not fully committed even though I listened
to the prayer calls, I read my daily devotion, I even wrote in my journal,
daily. I was consumed by the issues of my life and my faith was on sand,
quick sand. This time around, I am all in. And let me tell you I see the
difference and I am so thankful that God does as well. I am refreshed. My
spirit is light. I have a smile on my face and in my heart. I am loving this
journey. The verse for day 12 is, Proverbs 8:17 – I
love those who love me. And those who seek me will find me.
We are in a finished placed. We are at the end of the storm. I don’t know about you but I am expecting great things to happen. I am ushering in the Holy Spirit and praising God for the revelations that is given to me. I am not a prophet or prophetess. I am not a mystical being reading stars. No, I am God’s child and I hear His voice in my spirit saying, well done. This is the beginning and it will only get better.
I encourage you to step out your comfort zone. Eliminate the unnecessary and incorporate the necessary. Look within and ask yourself, are you living your life on purpose and for God’s purpose? If not, get grounded, get on your knees, and seek God in spirit and in truth.
Read that scripture above again. God loves those who love and seek Him. When you do that truthfully and with an open heart you will find peace and you will find Him.
Be Blessed
