 STOP!  Stop what you are doing and close your eyes. Now take some deep breaths and release everything. Release your work day and your must do list.  God is there. He is right there in the midst of everything you have on your plate. He is there in everything you don’t want to do but must.  He is your burden bearer. He is a light in dark places. He is a song.  Do you know that? Can you feel His presence? Breath! And offer up some praise. Riding into work this morning I was listening to gospel recording artist Byron Cage’s beautiful song called, You Are Everything. Karen Clark Sheard and Marvin Winans are also featured on this song and let me tell you, this song ushers in the Holy Spirit and reminds me that God is everything and without Him, I could do nothing and that I would be nothing.  I probably should not listen to this song on the freeway going 60 miles an hour while trying to sing and cry and praise God. I am refreshed in knowing that I serve a God who can do all things and knows all things. I am excited that I can lean on Him and He will comfort me, but the key is that I have to seek him. Because of Who God is, we receive His outpouring of love, grace, and mercy. He does not hold our faults and mistakes against us. He forgives us and washes us whiter than snow. It is like polishing silver or gold being set ablaze. When the process is finished, we shine. Humility is required to do what God has for you to do. Many will not understand your journey. Many will not support your journey. Many will not believe the journey. Don't sweat it., the devil probably thought he wouldn't get kicked out of heaven. Keep your focus on what God has for you to do. Listen to the still small voice. God used many people and they were not perfect, but they were perfect for His will. God is perfect and He will do a perfect work in you because you are perfect. Be Blessed

Looking back over my life I can honestly say I did good shoot, I did better than good. Loosing my mother at 16 and me being a teenage mother I didn't crumble, crash and burn. Oh I did a zig when I should have made that zag. I believed too many lies and did not pay attention to the sirens warning me to run for the hills. I have made plenty of mistakes and many I wish I could go back and reverse, but God knew the plans he had for me because His word says that our steps are ordered. I have learned a lot about the psychological makeup of people including myself and that is why nothing surprises me anymore. I am not easily tricked up even though I may act like I don't see it, I do. I expect nothing and appreciate everything. Though I may be different, I celebrate my different because it and God has saved my life.  Bad choices and learned lessons.       I am not a swimmer. Fact is, I am deathly afraid of being submerged in large bodies of water.   Yeah I know what they say, you should do what you fear. Yeah! Ummm! NO. That so far has been a big fat no for me.  Thing is though, I love being around water. I love the ambiance of the waves crashing against the shores. I mediate by large bodies of water because it is the place where I feel God the most. I also feel my family members who have passed on. But you would think because I do love water so much that I would also love to swim in it. Think again.  Imagine a riptide. A riptide is a tide that opposes another or other tides, causing a violent disturbance in the sea. So it is no surprise that I, do not swim.  Just had to put out there again. Many of us live our lives in a riptide fashion. We jump into situations and later realize that the choice in most cases was not the best one.  Now we are sucked in, griped, and goi...
