Your Love Is King by Addrienne Thompson

It is with wonderful pleasure that I share with you a wonderful read. I had the pleasure of coming across this new writer for me and I tell you her work draws in from page 1. I read three of her books in one, that's how good they are. Check her out I guarantee you will not be disappointed.  Be blessed and enjoy. Divorced nurse and single mom, Marli Meadows, finds herself stuck in a rut. She’s tired of her life and decides to leave it behind and embark on a search for change. What she finds instead, is love. Excerpt: From Chapter One: “You’re Not the Man ” I rolled over in the bed after a short nap, opened my eyes, and nearly jumped out of my skin. For a brief moment, I’d forgotten that Darius was lying next to me. The sight of him lying there asleep with his mouth wide open startled me. I eyed him with disgust as I tried to ease out of bed undetected. I slid and slid until my feet finally reached the floor, then I tiptoed through the cluttered efficiency apartme

Thankfulness

Psalm 100:4 NLT - Enter his gates with thanksgiving, go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and bless his name. This is the time of the year when many are sharing what they are thankful for. The Philippines was just hit with a typhoon and the midwest devostated by at least 80 tornadoes. Yes, there is much we all should be thankful for. Today and everyday not just a certain time of the year. Our lives are not our own and because we do not know what tomorrow holds, everday that we are blessed to breath air we should give thanks. I am lining my thoughts up with the creator. I am releasing all that I have no control over and increasing my praise. We only have this one life and it is up to us what we do with it, waste our time on and allow to consume us. Why not shift your focus and increase your praise? Why not focus more on others tgen yourself? Psalm 100:5 NLT - For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generati

All Or Nothing

It came to me this morning that we are missjng the mark.  We must use the whole word of God and not just parts of it that we feel most comfortable with. We must be obedient to the full gospel in order for our blessings to be fully realized. Isasih 1:19 KJV - If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land. Is it clear? Lets look at this same verse in the New Living Translation which says - If you will obey me and let me help you, then you will have plenty to eat. Ummmmm. I don't know about you but I want to have plenty of Gods blessings.  Everyday we as Gods children his foot soldiers are to be doing the hard work in building the kingdom of God.  We are to witness to the broken and the lost. We are to share the good news and the love of Christ. Share with them that they are loved and there is rest to be found for their soul. Matthew chapter 11 talks about that rest. I wonder what it would be like to see this work maifested. I wonder how much darkness would

Being Humble Being Blessed

For the past week I have been sick as all get out. I have had colds and flus but this was different. I really can not put my finger on it. I just feel a change. For the past week I have slept, read and coughed. I have fussed at invisible people in my room. I was not delusional, I just spoke into the atmosphere what  I felt. Being frustraighted with the aches, pains, coughing, sweating and just being totally uncomfortable, I spoke verbally healing, help, direction and most all provison. God answered. I was reminded that He is God. I was humbled by the blessing brought to me my someone I did not expect but, thats God. He sends is best soldiers to do his best work. He also sends the weakest too. You see each of us no matter our abilities have a gift and not using that gift is in disobedience to God who gave us the gift. It does not take much. It does not take great effort. We just have to use what was already instilled in us  by the Great Creator. 1 Peter 3:8-12 NLT - Finally, all of
