Release Your Vision

Habakkuk 2:2 says this - And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables that he my run that readith it.

Habakkuk complained to God about the evil and injustice. God basically told him to wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It is not easy to be patient but it does help to remember that God has everything in order and in His perfect timing the vision will be made manifest.

Our lives are not our own. We are all connected to God because He created us. Each action or non action. Each word said or not said. Each move we make is being recorded and for this reason, we must be very careful of our steps. Every step we take in this life will either take us up to the next level or on a crash course downward into a pit, a dark pit. To build a building, you need a blue print. Without a blue print you just have an idea. To see the possibility we must plan and without a plan, we only have a thought. The scriptures are our blueprint to building the kingdom of God.

Bakers have recepies. Builders have tools and materials. Plants need dirt and water to grow and so does your soul. Feed on Gods word.  Your soul can not grow without His vision, without His action or without His purpose.  Patience. Wisdom is key and if wise choices are not made, not only do you suffer, those connected to you suffer as well.

I say to you write your vision, submit it to God and wait. His silence is not a denial. Get wisdom by seeking Gods word over your life. Get understanding and be the light that God has called you to be. Pray. Prayer is your embelical cord to living water. With this water you will never thirst. Remember nothing happens by chance, it is His plan. You can either go your own way and fail or trust God and win. Trusting God and having faith is hard but, we are assured that all good things come to those who wait. Psalm 27:13-14 says this - Yet I am confident that I will see the Lord's goodness while I am here in the land of the living.  Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.

So don't rush, don't be so wise that you think you have it all together. Its not you who does the good work, it is God who does the good work in you.  Praise Him in advance.

  1. Great word sis! Patience is something we all struggle with. For without it, we run the risk of getting out of His timing and His will. Having a vision for our personal lives is so important. The Bible teaches us that the people perish(cast off restraint), because they don't have a vision. God puts guidelines and boundaries in our lives for OUR benefit. Thanks so much for sharing and thanks for visiting...have a blessed week!

Spectators Never Win

1 Corinthians 9:24-26 in the NLT Paul tells us, “Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing”. I am reminded with every breath, the race I am running. I know that God has given me the vision and because He alone is omnipotent, having unlimited power, I have won, I just have to run. I may stumble and fall, I may get scratched up and bruised, but run I must.   An athlete does not go into a race with doubt and fear. They are not concerned with who is cheering them on. A runner cannot focus on the runner next to them thought they are aware that they are there. A runner is focused on the run, the finish line, and the score board that tells them if they have beaten a previous record for the win.   Being a runner on the track is the same as

Win The Race With Endurance

Today has been a good day. How many of you get up in the mornings and say this? Do you get up with anticipation and drive to do all that you can in peace, or do you get up dreading the day before it even starts? You have a choice to either be grateful or in torment.  After a great call with a friend I haven't seen or talked to in over 30 years until a few weeks ago spoke so much life and confirmation in to me today.  I was reminded about endurance and running the race that God has placed me in. This race is nothing about what I want, it's about what His will is for me and nothing more. You see, we have to surrender our will for His will because as you know, God's will is the platform in which we have been placed at the starting line to run and not faint or grow weary. We been called and hand picked for a time such as now. Its urgent and immediate. Are you running to it or from it?  The past few months have been challenging on many levels and with these challen

Celebration Of Life

Looking back over my life I can honestly say I did good shoot, I did better than good. Loosing my mother at 16 and me being a teenage mother I didn't crumble, crash and burn. Oh I did a zig when I should have made that zag. I believed too many lies and did not pay attention to the sirens warning me to run for the hills. I have made plenty of mistakes and many I wish I could go back and reverse, but God knew the plans he had for me because His word says that our steps are ordered. I have learned a lot about the psychological makeup of people including myself and that is why nothing surprises me anymore. I am not easily tricked up even though I may act like I don't see it, I do. I expect nothing and appreciate everything. Though I may be different, I celebrate my different because it and God has saved my life.  Bad choices and learned lessons. At 52 there are things that no longer matter as they did when I was young and impressionable. Looking back, all I can say is tha
