Today the weather has been active. Wind, rain, and flooded street corners.  I have come to learn that I do not like driving in bad weather. I do however, like to see the changes in the season.  I will miss the summer sun.  I am thankful to God for His handy work.  The rain was coming down so hard it caused me to reflect on the great flood. God told Noah to build an ark. Take the animals two by two of every kind. He washed away the mess and the people who helped in the mess. That is how I see rain. Washing away, cleaning the air and feeding the earth in preperation for newness.

We can learn something from rain. We too can cleanse our souls in preperation for new. This is the time to gather, to clean out, and to refresh. Get ready for a new season. What ever that means for you, do it. Evaluate where you are and where you wish to be. Do one thing that will get you closer to it, what ever your it is.

Seek God and be willing to be prepared for greatness.
